CO2RR
Sustainable water-fed CO2 electrolyzer
Using a Cs-engineered cathode, pure-water fed CO2RR was achieved in a bipolar electrolyzer, reaching an impressive single-pass stability for more than 140 hr operated at 200 mA/cm2 with CO Faradaic efficiency maintained above 90 %. The important role of cation in managing the water content on catalyst surface as well as in the catalyst layer is revealed.
