Dr. Yung-Tin Pan

Yung-Tin Pan has always been interested in catalytic materials that address energy and environmental challenges. He earned his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign under the advisory of Professor Hong Yang working on bimetallic nanocatalyst for heterogeneous and electrochemical reactions. He than joined the Fuel Cell program at Los Alamos National Laboratory as a postdoc to develop active and durable fuel cell catalyst. He will began his academic career as an assistant professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering at National Tsing Hua University which he will continue his quest in next generation catalytic materials. By the way, he is a great lover of various forms of music.
